The Headteacher and the Governors of St John with St Mark CE Primary School are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and passionate Class Teacher for our Reception class. This is a permanent position for a skilled practitioner who will be able to demonstrate, from current teaching practice, their ability to enthuse and motivate their pupils regardless of their starting point and be committed to raising standards for all.

The successful candidate will need strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum; possess skills in overcoming barriers to learning and in enabling children to make progress through meeting challenging targets. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work as part of a team will be essential. You must possess a willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
The ability to lead an area of school life that contributes towards a broad and balanced curriculum, would be highly desirable, however, ECT candidates are welcome to apply.
