About The Role

We are excited to be looking for a Class Teacher to join our dedicated team until the end of this academic year, to help lead a rapidly improving primary school in the heart of Portsmouth.

Our ideal candidate will:

Uphold and demonstrate the vision and ethos of the Academy at all times

Provide a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children, where all can thrive

To take ownership of own development and support the development of others

To plan and teach effective lessons that engage, motivate and inspire children to achieve

Regularly assess children and be accountable for their progress and attainment

Communicate effectively with parents and other stake holders

To undertake various responsibilities as directed by the Head of School

Ark Dickens is a lovely school in the heart of Portsmouth. We are a two-form entry primary academy, which became part of the Ark network in September 2014.
