We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Classic car/Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair and restoration work, preferably with classic car experience.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, repairs and restoration work on Aston Martins from 1960s-2000s.
Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including heavy lifting when required.
Conduct equipment repair and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of workshop tools.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and required repairs.
Weld components as needed for structural integrity during repairs.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Ability to carry out restoration work to a high standard and attention to detail.
A valid driving licence.
