Job Description

Royal Kustoms Flathead Emporium are looking for someone to join us at our busy workshop near Poole on the south coast.

We undertake a broad variety of work on classic, vintage and custom cars as well as hot rods and vintage race cars and the occasional military vehicle. We also specialise in vintage V8 Flathead engines from standard rebuilds to high performance race engines.

Applicants must have experience of working on classic cars and an interest in hotrods and custom and American cars would be useful.

Salary dependant on experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

Maintaining vehicles, carrying out routine maintenance and repair

Vehicle clean builds/restoration

Mechanical and electrical repairs

Welding/Fabricating

General workshop duties

Essential qualities

Mechanical and electrical experience

MIG welding

Excellent attention to detail

Can work to a high standard of finish

Able to work towards stringent deadlines

Can work as part of our team as well as on their own initiative

Desirable but not essential

Competent with engine building

Experience of engineering machining

Race and Rally preparation

TIG welding

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 16.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
