Classic and Sportscar Ltd sell over 10M worth of classic cars annually across the globe. This equates to around 250 classic cars that are all inspected, then later prepared in house before delivery to their new owners. Adding to our workshops based at Malton Coachworks, we are now recruiting a qualified and experienced Workshop Technicians to operate in a further, new workshop facility in the Malton area.
Th right candidate must have workshop experience, be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential. You will be a punctual, conscientious and you will be comfortable with all elements of vehicle repair, maintenance and diagnostics. You must be sympathetic toward vintage vehicles and associated engineering practices and procedures.
Faultfinding mechanical/electrical
Be capable of carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
Completing Engine rebuilds and commissioning tasks
Capable of understanding scope of work and able to give accurate vehicle assessments.
Completing all relevant QC sign off documentation and repair records
Keeping the Workshop manager up to date with vehicle progress and being conscious of vehicle delivery deadlines
Essential-
NVQ level 2 in vehicle repair and maintenance or equivalent.
Advantageous-
NVQ level 3 or higher in vehicle repair and maintenance or equivalent.
