As a Classroom Assistant - Witney, the successful candidate will provide targeted support for a specific child in Year 3 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This child requires consistent assistance in navigating social interactions, developing communication skills, and engaging with classroom activities.
The ideal Classroom Assistant - Witney will have experience working with children with SEN and will be skilled in implementing individualized strategies that promote an inclusive environment. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the class teacher to develop and deliver tailored learning plans for the child in Witney.
• Supporting the child during lessons, assisting with their academic and social development as a Classroom Assistant - Witney.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to manage any challenging situations that may arise in the Witney classroom.
• Working closely with other staff members and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to the child's education in Witney.
