Your Role
You will work closely with Classroom Leads and Managers to support the day-to-day learning experiences of our children. As a key person, you will help children to thrive emotionally, socially, and physically supporting their development through play, observation, and respectful guidance. Your approach will reflect Montessori principles, nurturing a calm, purposeful environment that encourages exploration and independence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supporting teachers in daily routines and educational activities
Building caring and professional relationships with children and families
Carrying out observations and planning next steps for key children
Helping with toileting, dressing, and personal care with dignity and sensitivity
Preparing resources, displays, and materials
Upholding a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
Participating in training, staff meetings, and community events
What We're Looking For:
A Level 2 qualification in Early Years (essential)
At least one year's experience in a childcare setting
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
Knowledge of the EYFS and a genuine love for early years education
An interest in or experience with Montessori education (desirable)
Willingness to undertake additional training (e.g., Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding)
