Description





We're looking for a

Network Engineer

with a strong technical background in clean water systems to support our Project Management Team. This is a dynamic role offering exposure to multiple projects and clients, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.



You'll apply your knowledge of hydraulic principles and network modelling to troubleshoot issues, lead field operations, and deliver actionable insights that improve network performance.###

Key Responsibilities





Develop and support pressure and flow management schemes Analyse data and propose asset management solutions Use GIS to map and trace clean water networks Identify and resolve anomalies in network data Lead on data logging, metering software, and asset monitoring Create risk mitigation plans and method statements Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Coordinate with Project Managers and Network Analysts Plan and schedule field resources to meet project deadlines Ensure HSEQ compliance and conduct audits Line manage team members and conduct appraisals

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Essential

5+ years' experience in the water industry or similar Strong understanding of distribution and trunk main operations Experience with hydraulic modelling software Degree or equivalent in a relevant field Proficient in Office365 and GIS Experience across the project lifecycle (desktop and field)



Desirable


Knowledge of District Metered Area (DMA) design and optimisation Hands-on experience in the utility or infrastructure sector
