Activ8 Henfield Nursery is a full year day nursery located very close to the local primary school. We are dedicated to providing high quality care for children aged 0-8 years of age throughout the year.

Summary

We are seeking a Cleaner and pack away support to join our team at Activ8. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children and staff. You will be required to assist in the pack away at the end of the day and take responsibility for cleaning the rooms, toilets and kitchen. We are looking for someone to work at least the hours of 4-6pm each day with the possibility of extra hours.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the setting. Ensure that all equipment and surfaces are sanitized regularly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with setting up and taking down equipment as needed. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for children and staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
