Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial environments. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and safe atmosphere for both employees and visitors.
Duties
Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Skills
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with their proper usage. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
