Permanent Part-time Cleaner in Charge

(The role is permanent, subject to a 3 month probationary period)

Salary

: 24,309 (pro rata) 12.60 hourly (this includes the living wage supplement) to start as soon as possible.

Frizington Nursery School & Preschool are looking to employ a Cleaner who is dedicated, loyal and hard working to provide our children with a clean and vibrant learning environment. We would like the candidate to be able to clean to a high standard and use their initiative to ensure all areas of the school are well kept and maintained.

The post will be 20 hours per week, term time + 2 weeks. Discounted childcare for 0-5 year-olds available. The post to commence as soon as possible.

The post will involve lone working and key holder responsibilities to ensure the school building is secure each evening.

The successful candidate will:

Be willing to undertake relevant training when required

Have good communication skills

Manage the upkeep of our current high standards of cleanliness

To be proactive and manage their duties within the allocated time

Liaise with the School Business Manager to ensure all cleaning products are well stocked and inform them of any necessary orders

Display a professional attitude at all times

Work constructively as part of a team
