We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and clients. A background in commercial cleaning is preferred, but we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow in this field.

Duties

Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established procedures to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors in designated areas. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques.
