Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring that all communal areas, including canteens, bathrooms, offices, and corridors, are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.Hours: part time, 25 hrs per week.Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping Regularly disinfect surfaces, including office door handles Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.) Keep welcome mats clean and arrange for washing when required Safely dispose of rubbish Complete monthly deep cleans and disinfections Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g. unclogging sinks, replacing toilet seats) Ensure safe use of cleaning products and compliance with health & safety standardsMay be required to carry out other duties which are appropriate to the post
Skills& Experience
Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role (preferred but not essential) Knowledge of cleaning products, health & safety standards, and COSHH regulations Physically fit to use cleaning equipment and clean stairwells Good time management skills and ability to work independently High attention to detail and pride in maintaining excellent hygiene standards
