Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and thorough Cleaner to join our evening cleaning team at a medical surgery in Menai Bridge.
Working under the guidance of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients and staff by following strict healthcare cleaning protocols and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
o Carry out daily cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas, including consultation rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and communal spaces.
o Follow detailed cleaning schedules and instructions provided by the Cleaning Supervisor.
o Use cleaning products and equipment safely, in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
o Ensure the correct disposal of waste, including clinical waste.
o Wear appropriate PPE and follow infection control procedures at all times.
o Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or supply shortages to the Cleaning Supervisor.
o Maintain a professional and responsible approach to all cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
o Previous cleaning experience preferred; healthcare or clinical setting experience is an advantage.
o Basic understanding of hygiene and infection prevention practices.
o Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a small team.
o Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
o Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Up to 16 hours a week, more available on ad-hoc basis.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
