Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments. This role requires effective communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset, ensuring that all clients receive the highest level of service. In addition to cleaning duties, the successful candidate will also assist with handy jobs around the building and participate in scheduled maintenance days throughout the year to support the overall upkeep of the premises.

Duties

Perform daily cleaning tasks in and around the swimming pool, including changing rooms, toilets, showers, reception, staff areas, and communal spaces. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to meet health and safety standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and floor scrubbers efficiently. Restock cleaning supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues to management. Assist with general handy jobs around the building (e.g., minor repairs, moving equipment). Take part in regular maintenance days scheduled throughout the year to support the upkeep and functionality of the premises. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences. Maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team.
Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. A proactive approach with the drive to ensure high standards of cleanliness and basic maintenance are met consistently. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
