City Academy is on the lookout for a full time dedicated Cleaner & Maintenance Operative to help maintain our vibrant and busy arts training venue in Central London. You'll play a key role in ensuring our studios, classrooms, and communal areas are welcoming, clean, and safe for staff, students, and visitors.

This is a hands-on role with a set shift pattern.

The salary range is 28,000 to 31,000 pro rata with holiday and pension benefits.

Daily Cleaning (Monday to Friday):

Keeping toilets, sinks, kitchens, and communal areas clean and tidy Mopping, vacuuming, bin emptying, and general studio upkeep Maintaining the reception and art studio areas to high standards

Monthly Deep Cleaning:

Full building deep clean Polishing floors and detailed cleaning of stairs, mirrors, barres, doors, and skirting Light Maintenance & Support Tasks: Basic maintenance (e.g., paint touch-ups, small repairs) Supporting renovation and storage projects Helping to repair and maintain equipment Working closely with the Head of Building Management and Front of House

Monday to Friday

14:00PM - 10:30PM (full time role)

What We're Looking For

Experience in commercial/institutional cleaning preferred Basic handyman/maintenance skills are a big plus High attention to detail and time management Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented Good communication skills for working with the wider team
