Everyone Active is part of Sports and Leisure Management Ltd, the longest-established leisure contractor in the UK since 1987. Our mission is to encourage everyone to engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity five times a week, whether in our centres or through online training.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Everyone Active. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members and visitors at our leisure facilities. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of promoting health and fitness within the community.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across various areas of the leisure centre, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Maintain cleanliness of gym equipment, changing rooms, and communal areas. Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Provide excellent customer service by being approachable and helpful to members and visitors.

Requirements

Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English to interact with staff and customers effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 11.44-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
