Cleaning Assistant
Job Description
Join our team in Perth as a Cleaning Assistant. In this part-time, permanent role, you'll play a vital part in our team by maintaining the cleanliness of the branch.
As a Cleaning Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas.
Typical duties include vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting surfaces and fixtures, cleaning and sanitising restrooms and kitchens, emptying rubbish bins, and restocking supplies like soap and paper towels.
Cleaners are expected to follow scheduled routines, adhere to safety protocols, operate cleaning equipment safely, and report any maintenance issues or repairs you observe.
Successful candidates should be reliable, have attention to detail, and be able to work independently or as part of a team, with no specific prior experience required but a positive, proactive attitude valued.
Hours:
The hours are 16- 20 hours per week, there is a degree of flexibility so these can be worked over 4 or 5 days during the week (Mon- Fri) :
Over 4 days:
4 x 4 hours
4 x 5 hours
Over 5 days
5 x 4 hours
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
