Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in an office building, there are no toilets to clean.

The position is suitable for a person to work 2 hours per evening, on Monday, Wednesday and a Friday. Timing can adapted to the successful candidate, from 6pm onwards as you will be a key holder.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic team, providing essential cleaning services with professionalism and attention to detail.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces Clean and disinfect communal areas to meet health standards Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and efficiently Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required by clients or management Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily cleaning schedules

Experience

Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites Good command of English to understand instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients Customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving interaction with clients or visitors Strong communication skills to ensure clear understanding of tasks and safety procedures
