Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity within our Cleaning Department for a Cleaning Manager. The appointee will play a key role in ensuring our school maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organisation during the school day whilst adhering to school health and safety guidelines.



37 hours per week

Monday-Friday

Noon to 7.30pm four days per week

Noon to 7pm one day per week



School term-times, Trust Training Days, INSET days plus the last two weeks of the summer holidays

Essential:

Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervision role, preferably within an educational or institutional setting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders (students, staff, parents, and visitors) Proven experience of team management with a focus on team building and providing a supportive management framework Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and maintenance processes A positive and proactive attitude with a customer service mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

Level 3 or higher qualifications Evidence of recent and relevant training Training in facilities management, cleaning management, hospitality field
