Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Cleaning Manager to oversee operations across multiple locations across the North West. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage staff while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Duties

Lead and manage the operations of multiple sites within your designated areas, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Drive performance by setting clear targets, monitoring progress, and implementing strategies for improvement. Foster a culture of outstanding customer service by training and developing staff to meet customer needs effectively. Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and morale. Conduct regular site visits to assess operations, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with company policies. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans that support business growth and operational efficiency. Prepare reports on operational performance, highlighting successes and areas requiring attention.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar managerial role is required Strong drive for results with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets through effective leadership. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for enhancing the customer experience. Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions that positively impact operations. Previous experience in managing teams across multiple locations is essential Previous experience of efficient diary management You must have the Right to Work in the UK You must possess a clean, valid Enhanced DBS You must have a clean, valid driving license and the use of your own vehicle for the first three months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Depending on experience you will receive between 26,000 and 28,000 per year plus company car, predominantly Monday - Friday, split shifts, you must be available to work for at least two weekends per month (although you will not always be required to work). You will be expected to manage your own diary to ensure you complete your contractual hours. Hours vary but will be between the hours of 6am - 9pm albeit this does depend on the site.

Monthly pay - 5th working day
