The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Cleaning Operatives based at our clients site in Newark.

This role is for a 5 week rotating schedule. Please see below for details.

Week 1

- Monday- Thursday 1400-2200 and Saturday, 0900-1700 Sunday off

Week 2

- Monday- Friday 1400-2200

Week 3

- Monday- Friday 1400-2200

Week 4

- Monday- Friday 1400-2200

Week 5

- Monday-Wednesday and Friday 1400-2200, Saturday off, Sunday 0900-1700

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out machine and manual cleaning of warehouses and site facilities.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed Carry out daily and weekly waste removal and recycling tasks as required Recycling and disposal of all waste packaging Use cleaning machines Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces Cleaning of toilets and communal areas Dusting offices and meeting rooms Vaccuming Report anything in need of repair or replacement Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
