Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast pace. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between different locations.

A typical day in this role involves cleaning homes back-to-back, often moving between multiple properties in one shift. We also carry out deep cleans and Airbnb changeovers. Most of the time you'll work in a pair, but there will be times when you're asked to work on your own.

Reliability is absolutely essential--our clients rely on us to turn up and deliver a consistent, high standard of work. Without that, the business can't run smoothly or effectively, so we're only looking for people who are dependable and committed.

We operate between 9am and 5pm, seven days a week. Most of our work takes place Monday to Friday, but we do expect team members to take turns covering Saturdays so the responsibility is shared fairly.

Sundays are mainly for Airbnb changeovers, although that can vary depending on bookings.

We're currently looking for both full-time staff and people who are available to help with just our Airbnb jobs throughout the week. These roles offer fewer hours and more flexibility, ideal if you're looking for something part-time or around other commitments. Please specify when applying.

Duties

Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, ensuring all surfaces are clean and well-maintained. Use the cleaning supplies provided appropriately and equipment safely and effectively. Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to meet organisational standards. Communicate with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times. Maintain a high standard clean and high quality service that has been set.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role, (experience in cleaning homes is a great advantage & ideal) Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, is required. A valid driving licence with access to own vehicle. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction are essential for success in this role.
