Cleaning Supervisor - Construction

Salary: 26,000 - 32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (typically 40 hours/week)

Job Summary

Meggaclean Ltd is hiring a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning teams on construction sites across London and the Home Counties. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction cleaning supervision, a valid CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high standards, and liaising with site managers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate cleaning teams across construction project sites.

Maintain high cleaning standards in line with contractual and safety requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality control.

Liaise with site managers and contractors to coordinate cleaning schedules.

Allocate team tasks, manage rotas, and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.

Ensure COSHH compliance and uphold all relevant health & safety regulations.

Provide on-site inductions, training, and toolbox talks.

Travel between sites using a company vehicle or mileage allowance.

Report operational updates and team performance to management.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in construction site cleaning.

Valid CSCS card.

Full, clean UK driving licence.

Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of chemicals.

Ability to manage teams and deliver results under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications

SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).

First Aid at Work certification.

BICSc or similar industry-recognised training.
