Purpose of Role

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to lead/support the team and provide a high consistent standard of cleaning and hygiene services for our clients.

This is a key role working as part of a professional facilities team providing a proactive high level customer focused service to our client.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide the required documentation. Good physical ability is necessary for this role.

In this role, you will support the management team by ensuring that tasks are completed on time, as instructed, and to the required standard.

This is a hands-on position, predominantly working night shifts while leading a small team of cleaning operatives. On occasion, you may be required to work day shifts to deputise for the Cleaning Manager, as well as assist at other sites in the event of staff shortages.

The role is based on a rota, working five days out of seven.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of cleaning and safety by carrying out essential tasks such as:
Leading and supporting a team of Cleaning Operatives to ensure a consistent, high-quality service. Organising cover for holidays and absences to maintain operational efficiency. Managing stock, including ordering and refilling supplies. Delivering training sessions and toolbox talks to team members. Conducting audits in collaboration with the client and VINCI management team. Deputising for the Cleaning Manager as required.
Working alongside your team to complete cleaning tasks such as:
Damp wiping and dusting. Vacuuming and mopping. Carpet and window cleaning. Waste removal and litter picking. Washroom cleaning. Jet washing. Floor scrubbing using powered equipment. Ensuring all cleaning equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

Previous cleaning supervisory experience.
