Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated

Cleaning Supervisor

to lead our cleaning team across multiple blocks of flats in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, support team members, and act as the link between management and staff. A company work van is provided, which can be taken home, making travel between sites convenient and cost-free.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate a team of 8 cleaners across various Edinburgh sites Allocate daily and weekly cleaning schedules and monitor performance Carry out quality inspections of common areas including stairwells, entrances, lifts, and hallways Provide training and support to new and existing staff on cleaning methods, equipment, and health & safety procedures Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations at all times Act as the main point of contact for the cleaning team, reporting operational or staffing issues to management Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment, reporting requirements to management Assist with rota planning and cover cleaning duties when required Notify management promptly of any damages, repairs, or health and safety concerns
Qualifications

Proven cleaning experience with previous supervisory or team leader responsibility Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards Customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with residents Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively Valid driver's licence (essential for van use)
Salary & Benefits

27,000 per annum

9:00am - 5:30pm
