About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of cleaning operatives within a busy food hall and hospitality environment. This hands-on role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all front-of-house and back-of-house areas, while supporting staff performance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate daily cleaning operations across food hall and hospitality areas. Supervise, motivate, and support a team of cleaning operatives. Ensure all areas, including restrooms, dining spaces, kitchens, and public zones, meet health, hygiene, and safety standards. Monitor cleaning schedules, stock levels, and task completion. Conduct quality checks and report issues or maintenance needs. Deliver on-site training for new and existing team members. Liaise with management and hospitality teams to ensure smooth service during peak times and events.

Requirements:

Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or hospitality setting is essential. Strong knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
