As a Cleaning Team Leader at one of our clients locations, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism while overseeing the performance of your cleaning team.

Key Responsibilities:



The role of Cleaning Team Leader is varied and hands-on. You will be expected to undertake a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Lead and support a team of cleaners, ensuring all duties are completed to a high standard and in line with client expectations. Carry out routine inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation meet required standards. Organise daily cleaning schedules and delegate tasks based on team availability and site needs. Accurately complete cleaning logs, stock records, incident forms, and any other required documentation. Monitor and manage the stock levels of cleaning products and request replenishments as needed. Ensure the correct and safe use of cleaning equipment and materials, following all relevant health & safety and COSHH guidelines. Provide on-site training and guidance to new team members.

What You'll Need:



To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in a similar cleaning supervisor or team leader role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team. Excellent attention to detail and a pride in maintaining high cleaning standards. Clear verbal and written communication skills for liaising with team members, management, and clients. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure. A proactive attitude with strong time-management and organisational skills.

To protect our clients and ensure the safety of the environments we clean, we will require the following checks:

A five-year work history check.



You will be required to account for any gaps in your employment history on your application. This is required before the interview. All your previous employers may be contacted.

Experience:



At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role is required.
