Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to make a real impact in a high-tech manufacturing environment? Novanta Stockport is looking for a Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in our precision cleaning operations.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Cleaning Technician, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring that high-value mechanical parts are cleaned, packed, and handled to the highest standards. You'll work closely with Manufacturing Control and Team Leaders to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Your Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Follow cleaning priorities set by Manufacturing Control.
Plan and run the C50 machine to meet production demand.
Identify and report quality issues early.
Clean and pack parts using prescribed chemicals and equipment.
Manage stock transactions and support regular stock takes.
Collaborate on Health & Safety improvements and Risk Assessments.
Support continuous improvement and other business needs.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, meticulous, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Your Skills & Experience:Experience assembling small, intricate mechanical parts.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Proficient with MS Office and PC-literate.
Organised, proactive, and a great team player.
Willingness to learn bespoke software (training provided).
