Job Description

Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for an Clearance Deputy Manager to join our Retail team at our NCEC store.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to lead the End-of-Line (EOL) department, driving sales of slow-moving or unwanted products while delivering a first-class customer experience.

The successful candidate will have experience in retail or operational environments, with a strong focus on team leadership, customer service, and commercial performance. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the EOL department, supporting the Store Manager, and ensuring high standards in stock presentation, pricing, and health & safety compliance.

This role is store-based at our NCEC location.

Key Accountabilities

Implement and drive the Store Manager's strategic sales plan, exceeding EOL targets. Lead and motivate the EOL team to deliver excellent customer service and high productivity. Support the Store Manager during holidays or absence, taking on key responsibilities. Ensure optimal stock presentation, pricing accuracy, and housekeeping standards. Manage team performance through regular one-to-ones, coaching, and development. Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Contribute to store KPIs including revenue, conversion, and footfall. Support audit success through proactive planning and mock audits.

Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required



Essential:



Experience in customer service within any sector. Supervisory experience, including delegating and organising workloads. Understanding of retail or operational environments. Experience working with targets and KPIs.

Preferred:



Retail or warehouse experience. Knowledge of hospitality and warehouse processes. Rota management and first point of escalation experience.

Attributes:



A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for motivating teams. Organised and adaptable with strong time management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic IT, numeracy, and literacy skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
