Contract Type:

Full-time, permanent

Hours:

37.5 per week

Salary:

32,110 - 34,060 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in allowance)

Sleep-in Rate:

55.00 per sleep-in (average one per week)

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate

Deputy Manager

to support services across Weymouth, Dorchester, and Ferndown. This is a fulfilling opportunity for an experienced leader passionate about guiding both teams and young people.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of support workers Deputise for the Registered Service Manager as needed Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations, safeguarding practices, and company policies Manage rota planning, health and safety, and the physical upkeep of the homes Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and external agencies Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for young people Deliver hands-on support to young people when required Provide regular supervision, appraisals, and development opportunities to staff

About You:



Experience in a leadership role within supported housing or residential care Qualified (or working towards) Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) A resilient, empathetic communicator with strong leadership skills Full UK driving licence required Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for young people
