Stanton & Partners is seeking an experienced Client Accountants Executive to join their London team. You'll focus exclusively on client accounting for conveyancing, utilising LEAP legal software to manage all client money and billing tasks accurately. You will help uphold the firm's reputation for transparent, technology-led service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Administer conveyancing client ledgers in LEAP: recording receipts, payments, and ledger adjustments.
Execute completion accounting: checking funds in/out, generating completion statements, and ensuring accurate reconciliations.
Raise invoices and manage billing/disbursements for conveyancing files.
Perform daily and monthly client account reconciliations specific to conveyancing matters.
Ensure strict compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SARs) and internal accounting protocols.
Act as the primary financial contact for conveyancing fee earners, resolving client account queries promptly.
Maintain well-organised records to support compliance, audits, and consumer transparency.
Contribute to the firm's innovative and client-first ethos, supporting seamless, tech-enabled service delivery.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in client accounting within a law firm, specifically for conveyancing matters.
Strong working knowledge of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SARs).
Proficiency with LEAP legal software, particularly its client accounting module.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling client funds.
Strong competency in Excel and general IT systems.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle high-volume conveyancing workflows.
Desirable Attributes
Experience supporting residential or auction conveyancing teams.
Familiarity with CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) standards.
Experience with SRA file audits or compliance preparation.
Comfortable working in an innovative, digitally-enabled, and client-centric culture.
