we are an independent, veterinary practice with five different locations across the city, including a Tier 3 Animal Hospital in Walnut Tree.

Our RCVS Tier 3 Animal Hospital is based in Walnut Tree and we have four branch surgeries in Whaddon Way, Willen, Stoke Road and Stony Stratford, all offering a wide range of pet care services.

Client Care Advisor



We are seeking 2 full-time permanent Client Care Advisor to work an average of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday working between 07:30am and 7pm with one Saturday in two working between 09:00am and 13:00pm. Specific hours to suit can be further discussed at interview and we can review part-time hours but it is preferable that the candidate is fully flexible between these hours.

You will be able to work across all five sites and on some occasions, be able to change sites during the working day to cover any absences so use of a vehicle would be beneficial.

Saturdays only

: We are also seeking those who have previous veterinary care experience who would be interested in working 4 hours every Saturday morning between 09:00 and 13:00am either at our practices in Walnut Tree and/or Stony Stratford.

Salary 12.26 per hour which equates to 25,500.80 per annum full-time (based on 40hrs)

What your typical day will look like:



Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success. Your delivery of great client service during a client's visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit. You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must. Basic cleaning of reception areas which includes picking up, cleaning and removing animal waste products. Previous customer service and/or reception experience essential.

About You:



The role of receptionist is extremely important as your appearance and manner create the first impression that the general public receives of the practice.

You should welcome Clients and their pets, and visitors in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner both in-house and on the telephone. The ability to communicate well is of paramount importance.

You bring drive, commitment, empathy and most importantly friendliness to the practice. Your passion for great customer service is matched with your love, care and handling of animals. You are calm and are able to deal with differing emotions from clients. You are compassionate and empathetic whilst professional in your approach. You are able to provide guidance by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available. You have good keyboard skills and are able to pick up using in-house systems as well as Microsoft Office. You are happy to work as part of a team and support others.
You like to be busy, enjoy helping people and their pets and always try to make a difference.

Occasionally it will be necessary for you to admit injured, ill or stray animals for which you will receive training particularly in handling animals. It is essential that you follow practice policy for all admissions.
