Here at Myerscough Veterinary Group, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Client Care Advisor to join our fantastic team! The main purpose of the role would be to travel across all Myerscough Veterinary Group branches to cover Receptionists holidays as needed. This is a permanent position and with over 20 receptionist within the company there is always someone on holiday.

What will the role involve?

You will be the first point of contact for clients and the general public both on the telephone and in person. You will also be demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the practice and give confidence to our clients.

Other duties include:

Ensure that all visitors to the practice are met in a professional, friendly and courteous manner at all times. Inform and educate clients, providing excellent customer service at all times, in a professional, sympathetic and courteous manner. Telephone calls should be answered promptly and professionally. Booking appointments. Preparing prescription medication under vet instruction. Assisting the vet with animal handling as required. Admitting and discharging patients for routine operations. Stock control. Care and presentation of the client areas and waiting room stock. Monitor and progress client debt. Reconciling payments, cashing up, administration as required. Educate clients about practice services.

About the rota

This is a full-time permanent role working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. The shifts will include starting between the hours of 8:30am and 9:30am. On occasion you may be required to start earlier at 7:30am. Shifts finish around 6:15pm however on occasion shifts could finish as late as 8:00pm whilst working at our hospital branch. Some weekend work may be required.
