Client Care Advisor

to join our growing team.

This full-time position will primarily be based at our

Torquay and Paignton

branches, with flexibility required to work across any of our practices in

Teignbridge and Torbay

.

Initial training will take place at our Dawlish branch.



What We're Looking For

We're seeking a confident, motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will consistently uphold the values and mission of Bay Vet Group while working collaboratively with our clinical and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include (but are not limited to):

Answering telephone calls and communicating with clients across multiple platforms Welcoming and assisting clients in our branches Scheduling appointments efficiently and accurately Processing payments and issuing invoices Providing advice on a range of veterinary topics, products, and services Coordinating repeat prescriptions and medication collections Liaising with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow. Relaying messages from clients to vets and vice versa Ordering stock and maintaining product displays Keeping accurate records of client interactions and transactions Ensuring reception and consulting areas are clean and well-maintained Offering empathy and support to clients in distress, particularly during end-of-life visits or emergencies
Working Pattern

Full-time position:

4 days per week (8.45am-6.15pm shift pattern) (Part time positions for less than 4 days may be considered)

Weekend commitment:

1 in every 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm)

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a client-facing customer service role Veterinary practice experience is desirable but not essential Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail The ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving Excellent timekeeping and reliability Empathy, professionalism, and a conscientious work ethic Good IT literacy

A full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.

Pay: From 25,396.80 per year
