Client Care Veterinary Receptionist - Join Our Caring Team !

Are you passionate about animals and love helping people? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, friendly environment where no two days are the same? We are looking for a warm, organised, and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice.

At The Forge and Aldham Veterinary Centre, we are more than just a veterinary practice - we are a community, and our receptionists are the glue that holds it all together.

The practice has been the centre of veterinary care in Essex for the last 150 years. We are proud of our history having evolved and developed over this time allowing us to be dedicated to the care of companion animals.

This is a chance to be involved in an established practice surrounded by a motivated supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Greeting clients and their pets with a smile and genuine care

Managing appointments, phone calls, and emails with efficiency and empathy

Handling payments and maintaining accurate records

Supporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks

Creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere for anxious owners and furry patients alike

What We're Looking For:

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

Confidence using computer systems

A calm, compassionate nature - especially under pressure

Previous receptionist or veterinary experience is desirable, but not essential

A friendly, confident voice and a compassionate heart

Sharp organisational skills and attention to detail

A love for animals
