Brief Overview of the role:

The Client Development Associate (CDA) plays a critical and unique role at Euromonitor International. They are responsible for driving new leads and opportunities across a territory of approx. 10-20 accounts which have a global and regional presence. The key focus of the role is to develop these accounts through pro-active outreach, prospecting and lead generation to support engagement with key stakeholders, embed Euromonitor capabilities and Passport (product) and partner with Senior Client Consultants to drive new revenue generation.

Working from a named list of existing clients within the F1000 alongside a group of seasoned Senior Client Consultants, the objective will be to identify new contacts and potential leads that could be developed into opportunities to expand the client\'s current subscription or engage with our consulting solutions.

The primary focus will be on revenue generation activities but should also answer data queries and support with client Passport engagement CRM tools, technical support and industry research teams will need to be leveraged where required, to fulfil on these activities.

Revenues will come from:
  • Prospecting, identifying and qualifying leads for consulting opportunities as well as syndicated data system upsell through cold calling and email outreach. These will then be passed on to Senior Client Consultants for opportunity conversion and closure
  • Managing and responding to inbound requests from clients; working directly with our research team to help clients better leverage and understand our data and analysis.
This is a proactive, commercially driven role where success is ultimately measured in revenue generation and sales activity. The individual must be confident and self-motivated, and keen to work closely with senior colleagues as well as clients to drive the commercial agenda.

Key responsibilities:

Product Knowledge
  • Understand and succinctly explain all Euromonitor\'s databases as well as consulting capabilities, identifying relevant client needs that can be met through Passport or Consulting solutions.
  • Prospecting and generating new leads and opportunities across existing client base
  • Expanding our contacts beyond existing sources, identifying and developing a tailored value proposition for various areas within our clients\' organisations
  • Rigorous lead qualification, identifying both business need and appetite to spend, as well as good judgement of feasibility for Euromonitor to meet the client need
  • Conduct compelling, though-provoking client outreach to engage new and existing contacts with Euromonitor content with the goal of identifying leads for further development
  • Presenting a benefit-led approach to engagement and being able to clearly illustrate how information is applicable)
  • Able to use polite persistence to engage difficult to reach Associates, positioning Euromonitor in a compelling light and identifying multiple ways to assist/address obstacles that present themselves along the way

Requirements:
  • Excellence in current role, goal oriented and consistently at or over target
  • 2yr+ of sales experience
  • Hungry to learn, self-motivated, and resilient
  • Comfortable interacting with Associates within various levels and functions
  • Highly organised with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction.
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to use Salesforce effectively
  • Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics are preferable
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues
  • Intellectual curiosity, along with a competitive spirit
  • Willingness to travel (
