RWDI is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Project Delivery Team as a Client Development Manager (
Project Manager)
for our London office, focused on our Consulting Engineering predominantly in the Buildings Sector however with flexibility to cover a wide variety of areas within the Built Environment.
We will consider current Project Managers as well as experienced technical professionals wanting to take on Client Development and Project Management responsibilities with at least 7 years relevant previous experience and the drive to achieve results.
The successful candidate will have experience in delivering technical engineering projects, managing client relationships, commercial and business acumen, and preferably with client and business development experience.###
Key Responsibilities
The Role Includes But Is Not Limited To
Ability to work independently to effectively identify, negotiate and facilitate new business opportunities
The development of proposals, tracking, and gaining client agreement for new business.
Confidently undertaking client meetings and outreach
Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate with other team members on strategic goals.
Leading technical solutions to challenging design problems
Assembling and guiding a project team towards meeting project objectives
Consulting with engineers, architects and developers to answer technical questions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering or related built environment field
Experience in business development and/or sales activities in the engineering/ construction sector
Track record of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
Experience in developing detailed proposals, negotiating fees with clients, and managing client expectations
Ability to use a variety of client communication methods to increase RWDI's visibility in the marketplace and making value-based connections with individual clients
Candidates Should Also Possess
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong people and team management skills
An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Exceptional organisational capabilities

Benefits
Starting Salary: 45,000 to 65,000 GBP. Commensurate with experience
