Permanent, full-time 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8 hours daily between 9am and 7pm + 1 Saturday per month 10-2pm).

Hybrid Working Methodology:

Minimum of 1 month mandatory office working. Once confident and proficient with our systems and processes, a hybrid working methodology will then be reviewed.

. We are looking for people to join our team to help our client meet their targets, roles and responsibilities for the national roll out of The Government Smart Meter initiative. All energy suppliers need to install smart meters in every home in Scotland, England, and Wales. There are more than 26 million homes for the energy suppliers to get to, with the goal of every home being offered a smart meter by 2026.

What you'll do



Based in the comfort of your own home and our office, you will be responsible for using our automatic dialler system to contact customers and make the necessary arrangements to book in a smart meter installation and complete the various administrative procedures.

The role involves a large amount of interaction with customers via telephone and administration to ensure appointments are booked correctly and customers followed up accordingly.

Skills Required



The ideal candidate requires a combination of energy with effective and clearly spoken telephone conversational skills plus a drive and focus to succeed. So if you feel that you have the following additional attributes then you could be that person:

Have a chatty, light, bubbly personality with the ability to 'LISTEN'

Speaking fluent in Irish (Optional)

The capacity to pick up new processes quickly, including software and the product training you will receive.

Call Centre experience isn't essential, however strong communication skills and good IT skills are required.

Have a willingness to excel within a targeted environment

Be passionate and have a history of excellent customer service

Motivated with a desire to succeed


Organised with a keen eye for detail

Working within a target driven environment, exceeding daily and weekly targets

Providing customers with excellent customer service

We want you to feel as confident as possible when identifying the perfect solution for our customers, so you'll receive full training and support from our experienced Team Managers. There is no selling as part of the role. The focus is on having a well arranged appointment and achieving the targets set by our client Scottish Power.

What you'll get



5 Days Smart Training

programme with structured initial training tailored to your needs, training is full time Mon-Fri 10:00am - 06:00pm at our office in Glasgow, G1 2ER. After training,

1 month from the office for getting used to our systems and then it will be a Hybrid working

2 Days AT THE OFFICE and 3 DAYS WORK FROM HOME.
