Client Manager - Dental Accounts team

Due to an expanding client portfolio, a role has arisen in UNW's Dental Accounts Team for an experienced Manager. The Dental Team is part of the Accounting Services Department ("ASD") which provides a range of services including management accounts, bookkeeping and payroll services along with the typical compliance accounts and advisory work.

The Dental team specialises in accounting services for dental practices. The client portfolio is over 500 dentists and due to the nature of the specialised services, extends outside the Northeast region across England and Scotland. UNW Dental is recognised nationally within the industry as a leading dental accountancy and advisory firm.

The Dental team is a small team of less than ten team members and being able to work in a small team is a must. The new Manager role will be a key member of the team and work closely with other members of the Dental team and with other teams across UNW.

The key responsibilities and duties of the role are as follows:

Delivering excellent client service to all Dental clients - both technical and client management elements Providing advice to clients on technical accounting matters Providing advice to clients on specific dental sector accounting (training and mentoring will be provided if there is no experience of dental accountancy) and having an awareness of tax matters Managing a portfolio of clients within the Dental department Managing junior team members Working with other managers and Senior managers at UNW on cross department services - eg: tax, corporate finance and payroll services Developing business networks within the dental sector, across the UK Working on dental sector transactions (eg: practice purchases and sales), working with other UNW specialists.
