We operate two busy NHS/Private dental practices located in Old Trafford and Wilmslow. Each site has a strong clinical and administrative team, with a dedicated Practice Lead in Wilmslow and a Practice Manager based primarily in Old Trafford, overseeing both practices to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency.
Office Manager - Dental Practice
We are seeking an
Office Manager
to join our friendly and professional dental practice. This is a
new role
created to support the smooth running of our financial and administrative processes.
The position involves a variety of day-to-day office and finance-related tasks, making it ideal for someone who is organised, accurate, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Log and record daily payments accurately using Excel
Upload and maintain staff and locum working hours
Update and reconcile the practice cash book
Manage petty cash transactions and balances
Process dentist pay in a timely and accurate manner
Support general office administration, including filing, correspondence, and supplies management
Liaise with practice staff, locums, and management to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations
Assist with basic reporting and record-keeping as required
Ideal Candidate
Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working with numbers and maintaining accurate records
Confident using Excel and other office software
Experience in administration, bookkeeping, or finance is desirable (full training provided)
Proactive and able to manage workload independently
Works well as part of a friendly, supportive team
Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an advantage but not essential
Positive attitude, enthusiastic to learn, and committed to helping the practice run smoothly
About You
Financially literate, with experience in basic bookkeeping, Excel, and payroll processing.
Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
Proactive, reliable, and able to manage responsibilities across multiple areas of the practice.
Able to work collaboratively, providing support and updates to the Practice Manager and wider team.
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and maintaining high standards.
Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and processes.
