At LexisNexis UK, our Go to Market team is responsible for targeting and selling to our core markets and partnering with our customers to mitigate risk, increase efficiency and drive growth.
About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Trade and Export Team as a Desk Based Account Manager within the Go to Market function at LexisNexis. This is a high performing team with demonstrated success, who sustainably grow revenue from a range of existing firms and new business accounts across the Caribbean market, Gibraltar & the Channel Islands, to deliver or exceed an agreed set of financial targets and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Our Account Executives act as the key point of contact for their customers, building effective relationships to enable them to retain, upsell and identify new opportunities for revenue growth from new and existing accounts.
Leveraging an automated process and Customer Relationship management systems, with the aim of promptly resolving day-to-day operational and customer challenges to drive up customer satisfaction
Reduce attrition, achieve & exceed revenue targets.
Contribute to the development and implementation of our Customer Touchpoint Journey and marketing programmes to increase awareness, purchasing and retention of our services.
Requirements:
You have demonstrated experience of pro-active selling and negotiation of commercially sound contracts within a B2B sales environment
You have solid experience of retaining and growing customers in a desk-based sales environment with the ability to build lasting and trusting partnerships with customers and the ability to secure new business from new accounts.
Demonstrable ability to spot commercial opportunities, with strong customer services and sales support background.
You have excellent communication skills essential, as well as time management and planning.
You are a highly organised individual who can work autonomously - the role requires concurrent management & tracking of multiple points of customer engagement
You are comfortable working in fast paced target driven environments - the roles requires tenacity and a desire to engage those who may not initially see the value in what we can offer
