The work you'll be doing



Utilising your AML, KYC knowledge and exceptional client service skills, as a key member of our Risk & Compliance team, you'll you will oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

You will be responsible for managing a small team, improving processes, and providing guidance on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) procedures.

A meticulous mind and the ability to consider the adequacy of new client information; along with providing guidance to money laundering requirements will serve you well in this role.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive and risk-based approach to risk management.

You will play a key role in tracking onboarding metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing risk based and best practices within the team.

Oversee the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring all necessary due diligence checks are completed. Together with the Onboarding team, serve as a point of contact for clients during the onboarding process and address any concerns and act as a point of contact for fee earners regarding onboarding queries. Review and approve client due diligence files, identifying and escalating any risks. Collaborate with partners, fee earners, and the wider Risk & Compliance team to ensure alignment on client due diligence. Represent the onboarding function in internal meetings and compliance discussions. Develop and implement efficient onboarding processes to enhance client experience while maintaining compliance. Identify areas for improvement in AML/KYC procedures and suggest updates to policies. Work closely with the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to address complex onboarding issues and mitigate risk.

Advisory - including the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager and Risk & Compliance Administrator Process - including the Client Onboarding Team Supervisor, Senior Onboarding Administrator, and two Onboarding Administrators
