Overview



We are seeking a proactive and personable Relationship Manager to join our team. This role is central to delivering an exceptional client experience, nurturing long-term partnerships, and ensuring clients receive seamless support throughout their journey with us. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, highly organised, and comfortable balancing client-facing responsibilities with internal coordination across teams.

Key Responsibilities



Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels. Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships by understanding client needs, expectations, and long-term goals. Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, performance metrics, and service outcomes. Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and objectives to deliver personalized service. Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability. Identify opportunities for business growth by proactively engaging clients in new products or services aligned with their interests. Manage key accounts through regular check-ins, performance analysis, and strategic planning to foster loyalty and retention. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted outreach strategies that enhance client engagement. Conduct warm calling campaigns to reconnect with existing clients and uncover new opportunities for collaboration.

Issue Resolution & Account Support



Handle and resolve client concerns, complaints, or service issues with professionalism and urgency. Manage client accounts, ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with internal processes. Process client requests, transactions, and account changes efficiently. Guide new clients through onboarding processes, ensuring they understand our services, systems, and support structure. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to ongoing account management.

Sales & Growth Support



Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant services based on client needs and engagement. Support the sales team with client insights, relationship intelligence, and follow-up activity where required. Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and objectives to deliver personalised service. Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability. Marketing & Customer Journey Support

Assist the marketing team with customer journey mapping, client communications, and campaign execution. Provide feedback and insights to help refine messaging, materials, and client engagement strategies.

Corporate Events & Travel



Support the Events Manager with planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate events, conferences, and client meetings.

Travel nationwide as required to attend events, represent the company, and strengthen client relationships.



Skills & Experience



Proven experience in a client-facing, account management, or relationship management role. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, solutions-focused approach. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working collaboratively across departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Events). Proficiency in CRM systems, email communication, and general office software. Willingness to travel for events and client meetings.

Requirements



Proven experience in negotiation, B2B sales, or account management within a legal or professional services environment. Strong business development skills with a track record of expanding client portfolios. Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written--with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability in sales analysis, market research, and strategic planning to identify growth opportunities. Familiarity with technical sales processes and experience working with marketing teams to craft compelling proposals. Experience using CRM platforms for managing client relationships effectively. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in clients and motivate team collaboration. This is an office based role : Office hours are 9am to 5.30pm. Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-36,000.00 per year
