The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Salon Care & Client Advisor
to join our team. This is a foundational role where you will be the guardian of our salon's pristine condition and a key part of the client experience. Success in this position requires a proactive, meticulous approach to cleanliness and maintenance, paired with friendly and informative customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Salon Stewardship & Care (Primary Focus):
Perform detailed cleaning and sanitization of all tanning units and red light therapy equipment after each client use, following strict health and safety protocols.
Maintain immaculate conditions in all areas, including the client reception area, corridors, staff kitchen, and client bathroom.
Conduct regular checks to ensure floors are spotless, mirrors are clean, and all surfaces are disinfected.
Manage laundry: wash, dry, fold, and restock towels and linens throughout the day.
Ensure all product displays, testers, and retail areas are perfectly organized, clean, and fully stocked.
Complete opening and closing cleaning checklists to the highest standard.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues or supply needs promptly.
Client Service & Advisory:
Greet every client with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at the reception desk.
Consult with clients to understand their goals and recommend appropriate tanning sessions or red light therapy treatments.
Educate clients on safe tanning practices, session durations, and aftercare.
Actively promote and sell salon membership packages, tanning lotions, and skincare products.
Demonstrate expert product knowledge and provide samples or demonstrations to drive retail sales.
Manage the front desk: check clients in/out, process payments, and schedule appointments.
Operational Support:
Answer phone calls and respond promptly to WhatsApp messages and other online inquiries.
Assist in managing inventory of retail and consumable supplies.
Uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and energetic team atmosphere.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills):
Proven experience in a customer-facing role is preferred (e.g., retail, hospitality, salon/spa).
A genuine passion for and demonstrable skill in cleaning and organizing.
You take pride in creating and maintaining a flawless environment. This is the core requirement of the role.
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive eye for spotting what needs to be done.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a natural people-person.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
Comfortable with light sales and goal-oriented incentives.
Must be physically able to stand for extended periods, bend, and perform cleaning duties.
Flexibility to work the required schedule is essential.

Standard Working Hours:
Shifts typically run from
3:30 PM on Monday to Friday. Saturday hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and Sunday hours are 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Schedules are based on operational needs.
Additional daytime shifts are frequently available during school holiday periods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 7.55-12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
