Ultrasound Direct are a national private medical ultrasound group and are looking to recruit a permanent Clinic Assistant & Receptionist member of staff on a Casual Worker contract basis to cover weekend shifts on rotation: weekend 1 on Saturday 09:00 to 17:00; weekend 2 on Sunday 09:00 to 17:00; weekend 3 is a weekend off and then repeating weekend 1 to week 3. Occasional weekday shifts are also available. Shift start and finish times may vary slightly as some Sonographers may opt to start a little earlier or later than indicated but the timings above serve as a good indication of hours offered. No prior medical knowledge is required but being phlebotomy trained or completing phlebotomy training, in order to take blood samples is essential and a requirement for the position.

The successful candidate must have a vehicle in order to travel to our clinics. The role involves being responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of a private ultrasound clinic. Rate of pay is 15.00 per hour for week-end hours.

You need to be reliable, trustworthy, have good interpersonal skills, be organised and know how to operate general office systems. Eligibility to work in the UK is required and DBS (CRB) checks will be undertaken to comply with regulations. Candidates must be available for an initial phone interview after applying for the position.
