Job Overview

We are looking for a Clinic Supervisor to assist the Clinical Directors in the general management of the main clinic and to continue to drive the vision and progression of the practice to become the most highly recommended equine practice in North Yorkshire. This role ideally would suit an experienced equine person who is looking to progress in both people and business management and leadership. Alternatively, someone with previous management experience and proven leadership and motivational skills in the equine sector would be viewed favourably. The ideal candidate would have an interest in maximising business efficiency with logistical organisation experience. We have a strong ethos of developing our team and require someone to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills in a positive and approachable manner.

Roles and responsibilities:

Manage the clinic staff, maximise their potential and assist with queries/complaints. Booking the veterinary work and organisation of the diary Contributing to the nursing staff workload when needed Organizing client evenings to help maximise the usage of the clinic Provide a link with VetPartners Ltd to help the clinic feel connected to the group. o Chair Green Group meetings to reduce the environmental impact that the clinic has. To be part of the on-call rota in the Summer (March - September)
Essential Skills:

Full clean driving licence Horse handling experience At least 1 year people management Good knowledge of the York/Leeds/Selby area Excellent IT skills with Microsoft 365
Desirable Skills:

Previous experience within an equine veterinary setting Previous experience with a "practice management system" An interest in improving environment impact
