Clinical Administrator Wards




We've got a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our friendly Ward team at One Ashford Hospital.


Reporting to the Ward Manager / Sister, the successful Clinical Administrator will:

provide a high standard of customer service liaise with patients and key stakeholders to complete booking requirements ensure our main reception duties and enquiries are handled professionally with a focus on delivering good customer service at all times provide administrative support to the inpatient team, including managing the appointment system, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately & assisting with audits

Hours:

34.5 hours per week over 3 days.


Typical shifts will be from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work 3 x11.5 hour shifts per week; there will be a requirement to work on Saturdays from time to time.

Qualifications



Minimum GCSE education or equivalent

Experience



Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment. 2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer service role, including dealing with patients

Demonstrable customer service skills and awareness Good interpersonal skills To be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Flexible attitude and approach to the role Sound computer skills Organisational skills Ability to work as a team member Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
