Key Responsibilities
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate clinics
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Support clinicians with administrative tasks and correspondence
Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure efficient service delivery
Call patients after their surgery to check on their wellbeing and report any concerns
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in healthcare or clinical administration (ophthalmology preferred)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficient with clinical IT systems and Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Desirable
Understanding of ophthalmology pathways and terminology
Administrative qualification
Excellent telephony skills
