Job Summary



Reviewing electronic clinical letters, clinical e-mails, paper documentation and any other clinical correspondence.

From these you will identify relevant clinical findings and code the documents appropriately and accurately in patient medical records.

Providing administrative support to a busy Operations team

Key Tasks



Using document management within the EMIS web clinical system, accurately code information from clinical letters.

Scanning of patient related documentation and coding relevant information.

Dealing with any follow up actions from the documents, such as arranging appointments or tests.

Deal with safeguarding documentation.

Responding to tasks sent in the clinical system.

Process the clinical letters in accordance with the incoming post protocol.

Liaise closely with other members of the operations and wider practice team.

Keep up to date with regular updates and awareness of code changes.

Have awareness of GP contract requirements.

Provide general administrative support to the wider teams

Previous experience within a GP practice setting and an understanding of medical terminology and systems would be an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.45 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
